Attorney Profile
Neil E. Polster graduated from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 1976. He earned his undergraduate degree magna cum laude from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign in 1973. As an attorney, Mr. Polster has worked in many areas of the law that are useful to the practice of automobile subrogation law. He tried numerous bench and jury trials as an Assistant Public Defender. He later defended automobile negligence cases for an insurance defense firm. Thereafter, he worked for a firm representing creditors in collection cases. While at that firm, he acquired his first automobile subrogation cases from a leading automobile and casualty carrier. In 1992, he left that firm to form Neil E. Polster, P.A., which has emphasized automobile subrogation to this day. Mr. Polster is a member of the Florida Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a past member of the Appellate Rules Committee of The Florida Bar and has written and argued successful appeals.
